On 19 August 2026, we held our annual Your Home Care BBQ in Mansfield Woodhouse. Our community and office care teams came together with clients, loved ones and families for an afternoon of good food, sunshine and plenty of laughter.
We had a fantastic turnout. Some of our team even helped clients with transport so they could be part of the day, making the event a true celebration of the relationships at the heart of Your Home Care.
A day made for spending time together
Co-founder Paul took charge of the barbecue as our resident “Grill King”, serving food supplied by Mainstream Foods. Children had inflatables to enjoy, while Marion kept the adults entertained with prize bingo.
The activities were brilliant, but the best part was having time to sit, chat and enjoy one another's company away from the usual routines of the day. It was relaxed, welcoming and full of the moments that make an annual get-together feel special.

Care is built on relationships
Home care is about much more than practical support. Feeling connected, included and part of a community matters too.
Events like our annual BBQ give clients, families and team members the chance to strengthen those relationships. That same focus on connection is part of our everyday approach to companionship and care at home.

The BBQ was also a chance to celebrate another year of being rated Outstanding. We remain proud of that recognition and even prouder of the people who maintain those standards for our clients every day.
