Your Home Care has got off to a superb start.
Firstly, a thank you.
With media coverage, social media interest and now a meeting with our local MP, we couldn't have asked for a better start for Your Home Care.
We're delighted that people have been contacting us with a view to becoming part of the Your Home Care community, either as members of the team or as clients.
We're going through the official registration Care Quality Commission procedure at the moment, so we'll update you soon hopefully as to when we can officially recruit and then start to do what we really want to do - deliver outstanding home care in Nottinghamshire.

Our good start has also now included a meeting with our local MP, Ben Bradley. We met up with Ben at his office in Mansfield to talk about our plans.
Co-founders Scott Marsh and Paul Pitchford were able to outline the aim to recruit up to 100 staff, and set out our vision of modernising the home care industry.
We told him about how we will offer permanent contracts and a profit-share bonus. These ideas are not new to some sectors - but in home care, they're innovative - or as Ben says, “pretty unique”.
We want to stand out and we do that by having great staff who want to deliver great care for a company that looks after them.
We also talked about developing a career pathway scheme, helping home care assistants into careers such as nursing and social work. We've done some research into this and we know it works.
Ben told us afterwards: “It was a pleasure to meet the team from YourHomeCare and to hear about plans to offer a really positive new kind of career in social care, which seems to be pretty unique and a great opportunity for people to work and progress in the sector.
“We're all hugely grateful for the work of key workers in social care right now, and this addition and fresh approach to the sector can only be a positive one. I'm looking forward to working constructively with them.”
Paul Pitchford said: “We've had a spectacular start and it's great to have the support of so many people, including our local MP, Ben Bradley. Ben was really positive and it was great to see his enthusiasm for what we are trying to achieve.”
