Your Home Care's Ripley team is hosting Older Persons Day 2026, a local community event designed to bring services, support organisations, charities and businesses together in one welcoming space.
The event is open to older people, families, carers, unpaid carers and local residents across Amber Valley. It is a chance to ask questions face to face, collect useful information and find out what support is available locally.
Event details
Older Persons Day 2026 takes place on Thursday 1 October 2026, from 10:00am to 3:00pm, at Greenwich Community Centre, Nottingham Road, Ripley DE5 3AY.
No booking is needed. People can drop in any time during the event, and refreshments, hot and cold drinks, and cakes will be available to purchase throughout the day.
