On 1st October 2025, we officially opened our second branch. After five years building Your Home Care in Mansfield and Ashfield, we brought our service to Ripley and Amber Valley.
It was not a decision we took lightly. Expanding too fast is how care companies lose what makes them good. But there is a real need for quality home care in Derbyshire, and we felt ready.
A new office on Wellington Street
Our Ripley branch is based at Unit 1a, Unicorn House, Wellington Street, right in the centre of town. From there we cover Ripley, Belper, Heanor, Alfreton, Codnor and Somercotes.
We already had dedicated local staff in place before the doors opened. The same small-team model that earned us CQC Outstanding in Mansfield is exactly how we operate in Derbyshire.
The official opening
In February 2026, we held the official opening ceremony at the new office. We were delighted to welcome Linsey Farnsworth, the Labour MP for Amber Valley, Mayor of Ripley Town Council Councillor Colin Bailey, and a number of local businesses.

Councillor Colin Bailey added: “We are very keen to encourage established businesses to stay in Ripley and to attract new ones. It is fantastic to see Your Home Care open its Derbyshire offices here.”
