Your Home Care aims to set standards

An ambitious new homecare company has just been launched, with the people behind it vowing to become the number one service of its kind in Nottinghamshire.

Your Home Care has been founded by long-standing friends Paul Pitchford and Scott Marsh, and has offices and dedicated training rooms at The Sidings, Mansfield Woodhouse.

The company has already recruited highly-experienced Denise Pitts as its Registered Care Manager and has applied for registration with the Care Quality Commission, the regulatory body for the care sector.

Scott Marsh said: “Having had close family members experience very different levels of homecare, it’s a personal mission to help create an organisation that has the right values and standards so that care is at the next level.

“We aim to recruit around 100 staff, and we plan to achieve a CQC rating of Outstanding within a couple of years. It’s ambitious, but we’re passionate about what we do so we know it is achievable.”

Paul Pitchford, who has a background in developing innovative technology solutions, said: “We’re creating something really special here, somewhere where people with the right credentials will want to come and work. As well as people who really care, we’ll stand out because our staff will be able to use the latest technology and communication tools to help them deliver the high standards of personal care and assistance that clients need.”

And he added: “We have done extensive research and scoured the country for examples of best practice. Working with Denise, we will put everything we have learned into Your Home Care and build an organisation that truly makes a difference.”

Mansfield MP Ben Bradley welcomed the launch, commenting: “It’s great to see that a new homecare business is launching in Mansfield Woodhouse and one that has set its sights, and its standards, set high. Good luck to the team.”

Both Scott and Paul bring enormous amounts of experience to their roles, having both worked in the homecare and IT sectors for many years.

Before co-founding Your Home Care, Scott took time out to study at the University of Derby, achieving a First Class Honours Masters Degree with Distinction as a Master of Business Administration (MBA) Global.

Prior to joining Your Home Care, Denise gained considerable experience working in care, starting as a carer, progressing to Training Manager, and then to Deputy Care Manager with one of the country’s leading homecare providers.

She was involved in two CQC inspections and was instrumental in achieving the rating of Outstanding on both occasions. She is now creating systems, training programmes and policies that will ensure Your Home Care services are second-to-none.

While Your Home Care waits for its CQC registration to be authorised, the company expects to have a waiting list of people wanting to join its staff. Similarly, the company is anticipating that it will have a waiting list of people who want to use its services.

Anyone who wants to contact the company should call 01623 375275 or email hello@yourhomecare.co.uk. More information can also be found by visiting www.yourhomecare.co.uk.

Testimonials

After experiencing bad care workers previously, Your Home Care are the best. We are very happy with how mum gets looked after and it takes a lot of pressure away from us as a family. Thank you.

Clients Daughter

Excellent care shown to my father, took an interest in all the things he was involved with and made him feel well cared for and gave us peace of mind.

My care started with this company just over 8 weeks ago. In this time I’ve had 5* care. The ladies that look after me are on time and they go above and beyond to support me and my family They are my life line and dear friends (especially on social outings). The office staff and management are caring and understanding too. They deserve all the 5* they have. Thank you so much.

Client’s Daughter

We have been using your home care for a couple of months now for my mother and father-in-law and are so impressed with their service. Not only have they given us peace of mind knowing that our loved ones are being checked in on, but they also did some checks on my father-in-law which highlighted that his blood pressure was extremely low. They contacted us straight away which meant we were able to contact the GP regarding this and as a result, my father-in-law has had his medication reduced and his blood pressure is now normal. Without your home cares intervention this would have gone unnoticed possibly resulting in my father-in-law becoming unwell.

I can not recommend their services highly enough. They give us peace of mind knowing that someone has been in and checked on my mother and father-in-law and we know that they will contact us with any concerns they have.

Client’s Daugher-in-Law

We recently started using the support service by Your Home Care for my grandad and we only have great things to say about the team. The care, consideration and support the team have provided for my grandad have been second to none. The daily visits have really boosted his morale and he has found the staff so helpful and supportive. He has said he feels like they really care. I would recommend using Your Home Care to anyone, they are wonderful. Thank you so much for helping my grandad.
